Mini-games have been a favorable multiplayer activity in Minecraft for quite some time now, at least on PC. From PvP combat to tests of agility, fan-made servers which offer the necessary grounds to play games with a variety of house rules can provide countless hours of fun. Now Mojang and 4J Studios are working together to bring mini-games to console editions. The first mini-game, Battle, is a hunger games-esque fight for survival. Set to be released as a free update for console edition players this June, Battle will include 3 different arenas to choose from, however, Mojang plans to release more map packs later down the line as paid DLC.
